Aquassys enables water wells to be used twice, once for heating and once for watering.
Heating is achieved using a heated concrete slab. Watering is done using subirrigation with the same slab.
The innovation comes from incorporating everything in the same equipment. Heat management, watering and fertilisation can be done remotely using a mobile phone.
Energy costs are quartered. From €150 in fuel per day to €36 in electricity.
All plants are watered from underneath in a uniform manner instead of using pipettes. Saves labour and less root mortality.
