GreenManager®: The Vineyard Seeder!
This combined tool represents a major innovation in the agronomic management of vineyards, offering a novel and modular approach to optimising soil cover.
It comprises three essential components, which can be used together or individually to meet specific needs. Using discs to cut through vegetation, the cultivator is equipped with an opening tine that creates a perfect furrow for sowing larger seeds. The double-compartment seeder, mounted on the prismatic roller, provides advanced technology for precise seed placement.
• The first compartment is designed for larger seeds, which are sown at a depth of 3–4 cm behind the opening tine.
• The second compartment is for smaller seeds, which are broadcast in front of the roller. The roller firms the soil, ensuring good seed-to-soil contact, promoting uniform and secure germination.
Another key tool is the tine harrow, which is used to break up and level the soil surface.
The innovation doesn’t stop there. The integration of clod-crushing discs into the GreenManager® tool is a clever addition. This allows customisation based on vineyard specifics, providing optimal management of ground cover, soil aeration, erosion reduction, and nutrient absorption.
