Smart Dimming operates through an advanced combination of hardware and software, calculating spectrum set points using live and forecasted data on sunlight, weather and energy services, as well as sensor information. Powered by RED’s exclusive RED Mesh protocol, communication between the MyRED box and the luminaires is seamless. As the intensity of natural light changes, Smart Dimming gradually reallocates energy towards the most efficient LED colours, such as red, which promote photosynthesis and balance growth.
